HISD BOARD MEETING TO ADDRESS THE FUTURE OF TURNER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: A CALL FOR COMMUNITY ACTION
The HISD Board is to vote on the input from the community meetings, Town Hall meetings, and recommendations of the administration at a Board meeting June 26 , 5:00 p.m., at the Hattie White building at 4400 West 18Th Street. If you are willing to speak at that meeting let me know because there is a form that must be completed and submitted prior to the meeting. Even is you don't want to speak we still need bodies. Let me know if you will need transportation and if we get enough people to want to go we will try to work something out.
To obtain a petition for signatures, please see contact information below. Anyone who would be willing to carry one to their church, job, or anywhere you can get signatures please do so. Return the completed petitions to me no later than June 23, 2008.
Enough is enough. LET'S LET PEOPLE KNOW WE CAN AND DO READ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will fight for our neighborhood.
