On Thursday, May 29, 2008, 6:00 PM at Turner Elementary School Cafeteria, there will be a meeting and presentation by a consulting firm hired by HISD. 

We don't want Turner consolidated nor closed.  Therefore we must fight for our community school.

The community is being asked to come voice your opinion about the closing of Turner.  HISD claims they are only considering consolidating Turner with Lockhart but want input from the community.  We need as many people present as we can get to make our point that TURNER IS NOT TO BE CLOSED.
