The Roux

This exhibition offers a dialog between traditional storytelling and hand-made objects through various contemporary art printmaking processes.

Featuring artists: Rabe'a Ballin, Lovie Olivia, Delita Martin and Ann Johnson.

HMAAC is pleased to present this series in partnership with: Our Image Film and Arts Organization (OI), The African American Library at the Gregory School (Gregory School) and SHAPE Community Center (SHAPE). OI is an active partner for all seven of the screenings. The Gregory School will partner with HMAAC in May, to coincide with their "The Whole World Was Watching" exhibition that runs through August 20^th. The July and August screenings will be in partnership with SHAPE at its facility located at 3903 Almeda.
