Courtlandt Place will celebrate its 104 year history with home tours. Visitors are invited to tour seven historic homes completed between 1910 and 1926 and two gardens. A self-guided walking tour of the neighborhood, including an architectural description and history of the 18 original homes, will be available. Sallie Gordon and Penny Jones, authors of Houston's Courtlandt Place will also be present to answer questions about Courtlandt Place history.

Asia Society Texas Center board member Y. Ping Sun and her husband, Rice University President David Leebron, are recipients of Greater Houston Partnership's2010 International Executive of the Year award. They will be honored at a luncheon at the Westin Galleria, 5060 W. Alabama.
The award recognizes outstanding business people who have demonstrated the global leadership that continues to make Houston a center of international business. Former Secretary of State James A. Baker III will introduce the honorees.
